FLETCHER - Mountain Area Workforce Development will be holding a $17 -$20 per Hour and Beyond Job Fair on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the WNC Agricultural Center’s Expo Building, 775 Boylston Highway, Fletcher, NC 28732. The entrance to the Expo Building is located across from the Asheville Regional Airport at Gate 5. This job fair will feature over 90 local employers who are offering over 2,000 jobs paying more than $17 to $20 per hour.

Employers are in a “talent war” to attract the best candidates as the region’s unemployment rate is 2.5% and this job fair is an opportunity to highlight many of the best career opportunities in Western North Carolina.

This job fair follows the successful WNC Career Expo which attracted over 750 job seekers. There is no cost for employers or job seekers to participate. Lunch will be provided for employers. Most participating employers have many positions available paying $17 to $20 per hour or more.
