Haywood Community College reappoints 3 trustees

During the Board Meeting held on August 1, 2023, three HCC Trustees were reappointed and sworn in during the meeting.
Gorham Bradley, reappointed by the Governor’s Office, will continue to serve on the board through June 30, 2027.
Kaleb Rathbone was reappointed by the Haywood County Board of Education and will serve through June 30, 2027.
Danny Wingate was reappointed by the Haywood County Board of Commissioners and will serve through June 30, 2027.
The Board of Trustees is the primary governing body of the institution and consists of twelve appointed Board members and the current Student Government Association president. Four Trustees are each appointed by the Governor’s Office, the Haywood County Commissioners, and the Haywood County School Board. The SGA president is elected by the HCC student body.
