CoThinkk is accepting video grant applications for projects addressing vexing social issues facing BIPOC, African-American, Native and Latine communities. CoThinkk’s grant funds will continue to center systems change and support their network partners to hold this forward stance, take risks, and maintain a future-focused posture to support disruptive innovation as a means to meet each other in this collective work to lead transformational change.
“Leaders in our region continue to move some of the most innovative strategies to address complex social change and position all of us collectively to address some of the most vexing issues of our life-time. Their posture, passion, commitment, and courage to drive transformational work is undeniable and access to critical resources can further amplify their efforts,“ says CoThinkk founder Tracey Greene-Washington.
As a collective network, they recognize that they are one organization in a groundswell of community centered and community-led initiatives investing in a robust ecosystem of change in Western North Carolina committed to collaboration and not competition.
CoThinkk will continue to support organizations, groups and leaders that are collectively and collaboratively centered in racial equity and doing the heavy lifting within their/our neighborhoods, communities, and region. CoThinkk's membership has allocated $190,000 of investment into WNC communities of color this year; $150,000 for grants - 37 grants to be awarded this cycle + certified coaching support from Coach Diversity Institute available to ALL applicants, regardless of whether they are awarded a grant.
