HENDERSONVILLE - The Henderson County Education Foundation announced an evening of live music, camaraderie, and charitable giving at "Rock on for Education," a special event sponsored by HCEF, Oklawaha Brewing, Southern Alarm and Security, and WTZQ. This event will take place on September 7th at Oklawaha Brewing, located at 147 1st Ave E in Hendersonville.

Southern Alarm and Security is serving as the presenting sponsor for this event. As a gesture of gratitude to our community members, Southern Alarm and Security will be gifting the first 100 guests through the doors with a free commemorative beer glass. It's their way of saying thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of Henderson County's students and educators.

As part of Oklawaha Brewing's nonprofit of the month program, throughout September, a portion of all sales will be dedicated to benefit HCEF and the students and teachers of Henderson County Public Schools. On the night of the event itself, 20% of sales will be contributed to HCEF's mission to support education in the community.

The highlight of the evening will be the live performance by "The Lost Boys," a band consisting of dedicated HCPS educators who are ready to rock the stage and entertain the crowd. In the spirit of friendly competition, HCEF invites everyone to visit the website and cast a vote for the favorite "boy band" member. The winner of the contest will be announced during the event on September 7.

"Rock on for Education" promises a night filled with raffles, an array of fantastic swag, and, of course, live music. It's an opportunity for the entire community to come together, enjoy a fun-filled evening, and make a difference in the lives of Henderson County's students and educators.

"We are excited to partner with Oklawaha Brewing, 'The Lost Boys,' and our presenting sponsor, Southern Alarm and Security, for this special event. It's not just about a night of entertainment, but also about supporting our local schools and ensuring that every student has access to a quality education," said Peggy Marshall, Executive Director of HCEF.

Join HCEF at Oklawaha Brewing on September 7 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM to "Rock on for Education." Attendance and support will directly impact the future of education in Henderson County.
