HENDERSONVILLE – AdventHealth Hendersonville is offering one more way you can share some love this February – by donating blood. This Valentine’s season you can be a sweetheart and save up to three lives with just one hour of your time.
AdventHealth and The Blood Connection are making it easy to show love to our community this February by donating blood. By becoming a donor, you will help save lives and support our communities to feel whole.
According to The Blood Connection, someone in the US needs blood every two seconds. At AdventHealth this includes patients in need of blood and blood products for cancer care, surgeries and in our emergency department. This constant demand means there is always a need for more blood. On top of the critical need, blood has a shelf life which makes maintaining an adequate supply even more challenging.
To rebuild this blood supply, AdventHealth and The Blood Connection are hosting a blood drive, Thursday, February 8, 2024. While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend making an appointment to make it easy to fit your blood donation into your schedule.
