Hannah Michalove joins McGuire Wood & Bissette

ASHEVILLE - McGuire Wood & Bissette announced that attorney Hannah Michalove has joined their firm as an associate attorney. Her practice will focus on civil litigation, construction law, and local government and land use law.
Since joining the Buncombe Bar in 2021, Michalove represented entities, business owners, developers, contractors, and landowners in a diverse range of matters in state and federal courts, and before multiple municipal bodies. The Buncombe Bar recently honored Michalove with the 2024 Younger Attorney Pro Bono Service Award.
Michalove graduated magna cum laude from Campbell University School of Law in 2019, after which she served two years as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2011. Before pursuing a legal career, Michalove spent five years working as an immigrants’ rights advocate in both the private and nonprofit sectors.
