Melisa Lunsford was named the Director of Operations at Always Best Care Senior Services in Fletcher. Lunsford joined the company in 2018 serving clients as a certified nursing assistant, and has since worked in multiple roles including scheduling, recruiting, billing, and payroll.

Melisa was born and raised on the coast of North Carolina and grew up in WNC which has always been “home” to her. She is a med tech and has worked in geriatrics in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facilities as well as in-home care for about seven years. She has a special heartfelt interest in hospice and caring for her loved ones.

Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors and with their family and pets. She owes her success in life to having faith in God and hard work.
