HENDERSONVILLE – Carolina Village announced that Renita McDougal has been elected to its Board of Directors. She began her term on July 1.

McDougal retired in March from a 30-year investment advisor career with Wells Fargo Advisors in Hendersonville. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, she was also an educator and principal earlier in her career, as well as a certified retirement planning counselor.

McDougal is also a Master Gardener and has worked tirelessly to restore her West Side Historic District 1903 classical revival home with her husband, Todd.

Carolina Village is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The campus recently opened four additional dining venues and is currently renovating its highly rated Medical Center.

The Carolina Village Board is a volunteer board comprised of local leaders who make Henderson County the vibrant, welcoming community that it is. To learn more, visit CarolinaVillage.com/About/Board-of-Directors.
