ASHEVILLE – Mission Health announced Jeffrey Brown has accepted the role of CEO at CarePartners Health Services. Brown comes to Mission Health from ScionHealth’s Kindred Hospitals in Fort Myers, FL, and brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare strategy and operations of health systems including post-acute care, rehabilitation and long-term acute care.
CarePartners is the part of Mission Health that brings together four services – rehabilitation, home health, adult care and hospice – to offer our patients a full continuum of post-acute care, or care after a serious illness or injury.
Previously, Brown served as CEO of PAM Health in Boston, MA; System Vice President at LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA; and at Lee Health in Fort Myers. He also has years of expertise in hospital operations for health systems across the country.
Brown earned his Master of Health Administration/Master of Business Administration and bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University in Ohio. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, biking, running, and hiking. He is proud of his two grown children who are already eager to visit the Asheville area.
Brown steps into the CarePartners CEO role after the departure of Tracy Buchanan, who retired after 36 years of dedicated services to post-acute patients at CarePartners.
