Land of Sky Regional Council announces its Executive Director, Nathan Ramsey, has been selected to serve on Governor-elect Josh Stein's Rebuilding Western North Carolina Advisory Committee. The 25-person committee will help guide Stein's work in addressing the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and supporting the communities impacted by the disaster.

Other notable committee members from our region include Asheville Mayor Esther Manheimer, Fletcher Mayor Preston Blakely, Katie Button, Jack Cecil, Will Hoffman, Rep. Jake Johnson, Larry Leake, Dr. Laura Leatherwood, Rep. Chuck McGrady, Dee Dee Perkins, Debbie Roundtree, and Buncombe County Commissioner Al Whitesides.
