Matt Godfrey has joined the Venture Asheville team in the role of senior program manager. Godfrey created the Waypoint Accelerator Program, the only outdoor product accelerator this side of the Mississippi. In his new role, Godfrey will be working managing Venture Asheville's mentorship programs including Elevate and Insight and working with executive director Jeffrey Kaplan to launch the Optimist Ventures accelerator.
