Land of Sky Regional Council Seeks Responses for Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Survey

Jan 23, 2025 08:43AM ● By WNC Business

The Land of Sky Regional Council is calling on residents, workers, and stakeholders from Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, and Transylvania counties to participate in a brief survey that will inform the 2025 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). This strategy-driven roadmap guides economic and community development across the region and plays a crucial role in determining priorities for federal funding and programming.

The survey, designed to take just 7–10 minutes, is accessible in multiple languages and will remain open until February 21. Community members from all sectors are encouraged to share their perspectives, including business owners, local government representatives, health care workers, students, educators, and more.

The Economic Development Administration (EDA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce supports the development of CEDS to foster collaboration among public and private entities. By participating, you can ensure that the region’s priorities reflect the diverse needs of its communities.

Take the survey today and help shape a vibrant future for Western North Carolina. Visit landofsky.org/ceds.html to participate.
