The AdventHealth Hendersonville Foundation has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Perry N. Rudnick Endowment Fund through the Community Foundation of Henderson County. The grant will be used to expand labor and delivery care in The Baby Place at AdventHealth Hendersonville to include acute neonatal services that will allow convenient,
comprehensive, high-quality care for newborns and their families, close to home.
“This initiative aims to improve health outcomes, reduce patient transfers to distant
hospitals and enhance support for families during and after birth,” says Bo Caldwell, the
AdventHealth Hendersonville Foundation Director.
This grant will provide AdventHealth Hendersonville additional resources by expanding to a neonate acute care center in Henderson County that will provide women and their newborns the affordable and vital care they need.
The Community Foundation of Henderson County supports charitable programs in the
greater Henderson County area. Founded in 1982, The Community Foundation
administers more than 500 funds with assets of more than $100 million.
