The Caldwell Chamber is currently preparing for its Annual Meeting award ceremony, in partnership with Duke Energy, where it will be celebrating citizenship and service in Caldwell County on Feb. 27 at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center at 5:30 p.m. The L.A. Dysart Award Honorees will be presented at the Chamber Annual Meeting. This award recognizes individuals who exhibit extraordinary citizenship within their community through their service endeavors.

The Chamber has announced the 2025 Female and Male L.A. Dysart Honorees are Dr. Helen P. Hall and Jerry Church. Through evidence of the community these individuals have been passionate, dedicated, and thorough citizens in Caldwell County. These awards will be presented by Robin Nicholson, Duke Energy District Manager for Government and Community Relations for Caldwell County. At this year’s event, The Chamber will also present a Visionary Award Winner, as well as the Small Business of the Year, The Non-Profit of the Year, Community Impact, The Caldwell Women’s Forum Outstanding Business Woman of the Year and the Torch Bearer Awards for 2025.

Jerry Church and Dr. Helen Hall are both longtime public servants, Church being best known as town manager of Granite Falls for more than 14 years and Hall as a teacher, principal and school board member for schools within the county, but also other cities and states as well. At the annual meeting, Church and Hall will join the ranks of other Caldwell County leaders and public servants who have devoted their lives to making their community a better place.

Those interested in attending the L.A. Dysart Awards and The Caldwell Chamber Annual Meeting are encouraged to register at the Chamber website at CaldwellChamberNC.com.
