The Mountain West Partnership has begun providing dedicated economic development services to Macon County as of February 2025. This initiative is focused on attracting new businesses, supporting existing enterprises, and fostering job creation and investment throughout the county.

By leveraging strategic partnerships, resources, and regional collaborations, Mountain West

Partnership aims to enhance Macon County’s economic landscape and create a business-friendly environment that supports industries aligned with the county’s strengths and growth potential. The initiative focuses on recruiting businesses that can thrive in Macon County, creating jobs

and investment. It supports existing businesses in overcoming challenges and expanding.

Workforce development efforts partner with educators and employers to build a skilled labor

force. Infrastructure improvements enhance industrial sites for development. Marketing

promotes Macon County as a prime business destination through outreach and networking.
