WomanUP In Action, Part 1
In our WomanUP In Action Series, you'll learn about the impact and needs related to child care and how you can support child care availability through action.

Child care is critical to WNC's economy. As the workforce behind the workforce, early educators support employers, large and small, across our community by making it possible for parents to work. The earliest days are also critical to brain development, setting children up for success in school and in life.
In the first of our three-part WomanUP In Action Series, you'll hear from WNC parents, early educators and child care experts about the significant impact Child Care Stabilization Grants have made on WNC’s economy over the past few years.
We'll share simple action items for employers, parents and business and community leaders to advocate for regional child care availability and the economy as the Child Care Stabilization Grants come to an end. Together, we can promote the policies and investments needed to avoid a loss in child care availability and set the foundation for future growth. Additional programs will be held in May and June.
